The hearburn? Shitting this thing out in 45 minutes? The overall feeling of self hatred? How you'll feel on the bike later?[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 12:47 pm Bacon, sandwiched between layers of fresh, never-frozen meat, sandwiched between two mediocre buns with a slathering of cheese and mayo goop holding it all together. What's not to love?

I would make it on my own without the mayo, a crime against beef in my not so humble opinion.
I do not, however, eat at Wendy's anymore because the ones around here are pure garbage. The last Baconator I had was cold with semi cooked bacon that made me want to vomit. The last Wendy's I had the manager came by and disassembled my burger with his bare hands and reassembled it after scraping off the mayo when he saw someone make it wrong. That's fucking gross, Ahmed.

I too had a bad Wendy's experience and have not returned (Like 10 years ago?) The existence of In N' Out makes the existence of Wendy's superfluous.Do Work, Son wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 12:55 pm I would make it on my own without the mayo, a crime against beef in my not so humble opinion.

Nothing compares to Little Caesar's on that front anyway and mayo is full in all forms.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 1:12 pmyou are FUKCING UP the calories/dollar caculation if you do that

The mayo at Wendy's sits in a metal tub all day. Flies land in there and Wendy's has none of those little zapper things to keep bugs at a minimum.
Their quality control is nonexistent and the ones around here are filthy.

I have been grossly disappointed by my fast food escapades of late, so I'll just stick to paying an extra $2 to have a burger at the bar down the street.

By $2 I really meant $40 and by bar down the street I mean Ruth's Chris.
Of course.

It's nearly double the price around here.
Bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink and tax and tip is $15+ at anything that isn't a ZOMG TURRIBLE CHAIN!!
vs $8.xx for a baconator.

The local bar also uses frozen patties, frozen fries, and cheapass whitebread buns that are no better than fast food while they're charging you all that money for the privilege of hanging out in a loud ass place full of idiots and triple or more for beers while they're at it... fuck bars.

Bars around me are way better than the local fast food joints.
Some are loud, but the ones I frequent are quieter.
Inner city fast food is the definition of poverty.

I get it though. Where my aunt lives in central PA, there is literally nowhere good to eat that isn't a chain. The local Burger King and Wendys will make a better meal than any of the mom and pop places that are left.

Outback has this style of burger, they're almost as bad as Wendy's.troyguitar wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 2:57 pm The local bar also uses frozen patties, frozen fries, and cheapass whitebread buns that are no better than fast food while they're charging you all that money for the privilege of hanging out in a loud ass place full of idiots and triple or more for beers while they're at it... fuck bars.

So can you really get out of a bar with a bacon cheeseburger, fries, drink, tax, tip for $10?Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 2:59 pmFTFYtroyguitar wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 2:57 pm The local bar also uses frozen patties, frozen fries, and cheapass whitebread buns that are no better than fast food while they're charging you all that money for the privilege of hanging out in a loud ass place full of idiots and triple or more for beers while they're at it... fuck bars in my area.

Isn't the point of fastfood to pay a minimal amount of money? If I want a cheap quick meal, a bar isn't even on my radar. If I'm eating at a bar, it's becuase we chose to go there for a full meal where we're going to sit and hang out for a while.
