Wait, y’all really can’t find Johnny Drum? I’m fairly certain I have easy access to this. I’ll look today.

One one hand, none of this is news to anyone that has done even a moment of research or interest.
On the other hand, there are so so so many people that don't do that and buy based on the cost of a bottle. "It's $80, it must be good!"
Some formality around what shit means would be good.
I opened a bottle of VanWinkle last night and Nothing but fiberglass cane out

Buddy of mine gave me a couple bottles of this local stuff. It's VERY good. They float it down the river on a ship in its barrels.

OMFW
Original Mississippi Floated Whisky
OMFW is the humble recreation of the early American whiskey trail, an 1,100 mile journey of whiskey down the Mississippi River to the Port of New Orleans. Aged over five years, it spent weeks in the barrel on the mightiest of rivers, and was finally blended in antique cognac vats at our distillery. The nautical movement and finishing techniques forged a light and smooth whiskey to be enjoyed in all forms.

Mild, sweet in the middle. Little bit of smoke on the nose. The boozy burn comes in with the sweet, but the sweet wins. The finish is mild smoke that fades out.Calvinball wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 3:34 pmBig Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 3:33 pm

I guess it's not technically bourbon, but for American brown liquor I give it a 9/10. 7/10 for general brown liquor score.

Ive been drinking cheap. Just some jack and coke or jameson and ginger ale.
I think once I actually have something to celebrate I will grab a decent bottle. Until then I dont deserve shit.
