Another quick update … there is a thing called “vampire drain”

The car loses about 1% in charge per day to stay alive.
Going on a 7 day trip … going to be interesting to see. I am not leaving it plugged in.

Curious: does Tesla suggest leaving it plugged in if you're leaving for a while or leaving it unplugged? OR just do whatever?

No real suggestion … but there is just a guideline about charging. Also it seems like they did away with the whole 100% is bad suggestion it’s missing from the UI now.

Got a message from the service people … they don’t have a part but still want me to bring in the car… made me wonder what part … apparently they ordered a tail light even though I complained about a paint issue under the tail light.

I guess that covers all the bases for getting around sans your car, I think that is actually a pretty sweet as I could get rides for the entire year paid for on that.

That being said, I feel like someone rolling in a $100K car may not be super enthused to ride in Juanita's 2003 Toyota Sienna...

My street name is Old Dulin Farms Way, and there's a big ass sign on the main road that says DULIN FARMS. The driver's call me and say I'm on X road (not mine) infront of trailer XX (my house number is 12334 not 78?)
