Hennarot is the closest thing, not sure if they sold those in the US.

Will make mine more unique.
I am 99% sure this my buddy's old car on that paint color list for Aplinablau Metallic. :mindblown:

I would have a rough time with the color, on one hand you want something cool, on the other if it never came in said color it will always look “painted” not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.
Estoril blue II as on my now departed F30 was my all time fav color

Estoril blue would be totes, no doubt, but the orange calls to me.

Also, :aintcare: about a non factory color. It's not a numbers matching car anyway. I'll spend the coin to do the trunk, and door jambs, but engine bay will still be black, NFG.

Thats far too much money for a paint job. Unless youre going show quality you should never pay more than 6k for a car the size of an E30.

I would lose my shit if someone threw that quote at me.

I mean, if you're painting an XKE, fine. But not this.

Yes completely different animal.

good paint is good paint. Also, Orange came on several special cars. Like the H&R e30. I mean, the classic white with m color stripes. That was the racing colors. You dont have to stick with the boring dealer colors for 80s bread boxes.

This dude is in Texas. Car looks great.

That would be for top tier work, way out of place for this car, and my intended path for it.

Yes a car that is going to see regular street driving and eat some cones would be a waste of that much money.

The non-metallic should be cheaper and easier to spray methinks. Cone colored mayhem.

Thinking of a plate already. ERNGE30 is available.

I can't find a supplier for the color with some quick Google-fu. I'll talk to the paint guy next week, I have a name and color code doe, so that's a thing.

Fixed the rust on the floor board, was just a few spots on the surface nothing major. Got it sanded, treated and painted.ImageImage

Also, I cut the carpet out.

A) I have a replacement carpet.

B) The carpet is installed before such items as the heater core and the steering column, yes those have to be removed before removing the carpet, to do it 'by the book'

Decided I'm going to go with Euro bumpers on the car, should look very similar to this once it's all said and done.

The smaller bumpers really clean up the look of the car. They're :waxer: but, totally worth it IMO.Image
