Hennarot is the closest thing, not sure if they sold those in the US.
Will make mine more unique.

I would have a rough time with the color, on one hand you want something cool, on the other if it never came in said color it will always look “painted” not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.Melon wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:17 amhttp://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/inde ... lour_Codes

Estoril blue would be totes, no doubt, but the orange calls to me.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:25 amI would have a rough time with the color, on one hand you want something cool, on the other if it never came in said color it will always look “painted” not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.Melon wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:17 am

Also, about a non factory color. It's not a numbers matching car anyway. I'll spend the coin to do the trunk, and door jambs, but engine bay will still be black, NFG.

Thats far too much money for a paint job. Unless youre going show quality you should never pay more than 6k for a car the size of an E30.
I would lose my shit if someone threw that quote at me.

I know a bodyshop owner. If I pulled the miata engine I could get almost any color for 2k. Engine bay, doors, trunk. Errything
good paint is good paint. Also, Orange came on several special cars. Like the H&R e30. I mean, the classic white with m color stripes. That was the racing colors. You dont have to stick with the boring dealer colors for 80s bread boxes.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:25 amI would have a rough time with the color, on one hand you want something cool, on the other if it never came in said color it will always look “painted” not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.Melon wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:17 am

That would be for top tier work, way out of place for this car, and my intended path for it.

Yes a car that is going to see regular street driving and eat some cones would be a waste of that much money.Melon wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 1:37 pmBarnes93cb wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 1:04 pm Thats far too much money for a paint job. Also, I cut the carpet out.
A) I have a replacement carpet.
B) The carpet is installed before such items as the heater core and the steering column, yes those have to be removed before removing the carpet, to do it 'by the book'

Decided I'm going to go with Euro bumpers on the car, should look very similar to this once it's all said and done.
The smaller bumpers really clean up the look of the car. They're but, totally worth it IMO.
