2004 6spd 161k Miles. New daily. Paid less than 2 for it. Thoughts? Know nothing about vw. It's all stock except the radio and some lowering Springs.

I had that car in a manuel with the 2.slow. was amazingly reliable except for bulb outs in the rear tail lights. Bought new in 2000 and held for 7 yrs.

The VR6 is hella fun. Not as reliable overall as the 2.0 but a lot more power. Good price is good though have fun with it!

It's normal for them to smell like molten crayons. It's the rust proofing.

I replaced tail light bulbs singly and my cruise control did eventually stop working. I never made the connection.
