BTW, had my first scare today driving like a :douche: :stig:

Getting on the on-ramp to the highway from work, two lane. I'm in the right with a car a few lengths in front, car in the left right next to me, nobody in front of it. This is the only place I really get to have fun on my commute, so I gun it into the gap in front of the car to the left. 2nd gear, the tires slip as they try to find traction and traction control tries to figure out :wtf: is going on. I turn the wheel at the same time and the backend got pretty squirrely. The worst thing you can do is lift, so I stay in it and ride the fishtail back and forth while attempting modest counter-steer. It gets straight right as I hit redline, and like a :derp: I bang 3rd and again with the tire slipping. At least it stayed straight.

I was equal parts :fuckyeah: and :yikes:

The new LSD clutches are no joke...combined with the power and gears, woa.

And that's the thing, I don't even care what HP it makes...it's so ridiculous I love it.

I'm thinking that your car has 30-50 (or more?) HP then my stock LS2; however, since I replaced my tars I haven't had any of those kinds of close calls. Before that I'd surprise myself with sideways shenanigans on cold mornings.

Tires are my main "mod" for next season. Should hopefully help with traction.

I'm glad I went 18" wheels, our roads are :notbad: so there's practically never a surprise pot hole, but I do wish I went wider on the front. I think 18x10 squared would be my top choice. I wouldn't need any more then that for how and where I drive. My fronts are :245: and :275: out back so :jalepenis: :jalepenis: , but I barely ever find the limits on road driving short of ONE really fast left hand sweeper where I started to feel the front end understeer. I probably should've been going about half the speed and I needed to quickly change lanes halfway thought.

I've got 275 17 up front and 295 18 in the back. I've thought about running a 295 18 square setup, but I'm too :scrooge: for that since I don't really drive the car off the street anymore.

I like moar sidewall, personally. Fucking awful roads around here.

How wide are your ramz? Can I go bigger on a 8" front 10" rear?

Stock C5 base? Could probably fit the same width and offsets on my C6 I assume. I'm pretty sure the front and rear have different offsets as well. In4deets mang.

Was there any space up front for MOAR width without rubbing? :like:

Must have been the offset on the wheels. I've got 275s with plenty of room, and there's reports that 295s will fit without issue.
