I honestly think the same thing. If the car can operate without restriction on 1 of those tips the rest is done for style.

Thanks :bruh: ,I I appreciate you reading up!

I'm still pretty stoked about the car, it's been amazing to date. I've been blessed with a good one, hopefully that course stays true.

I'm starting to think my cars fair better due to commute, lots of smooth roads and highway travel. I'm currently at 41.5k miles. Average mileage in above freezing weather is 27.7mpg over the last 2000 miles/50 hrs of driving, been taking it kind of easy on the car.

Not sure how the rock thing will affect resale, probably not much since I'll have a shit load of miles on it by the time I need to sell it, all new parts doe, so thats nice.

I'm liking my choice of mods, mainly cosmetic but they all add to the appeal and I'd do them again. The exhaust and res delete are a 5/7 combo.

No interest in more power, 280hp is fine, the trans is fast, the car is a 5 sec 0-60kmh, more then adequate for the occasional rippage.

Used they are like $30-33k CAD, which is a pretty good deal IMO

It's a beaut....
If I dont opt to make a :dill: with Griffballz on his Beama, I am hoping to find a reasonably priced, single owner, <60k farts specimen, in your color in 2021.

So I will likely be looking at 2017's.

The big decision will be :manuel: or DSG.....

280 hp and a 5 second 0 to 60 is a big improvement on my Stage 1+ :mk6: .....add in the AWD and the superior interior and its pretty much a no-brainer for me.

Plus I really like what you said about the improved refinement you saw between Mk6 and Mk7.

Did you opt for no sunroof due to known issues, or just preference? (this is the first of many questions I am likely be asking you).

DSG is under 5, manuel is over 5, can't go wrong either way but I REALLY like the DSG and don't care about rowing through gears that much aside from buying a vintage sports car or something.

The chassis is way better, magazines and online reviews confirm it, you should take one for a spin sometime. I mean, in the end its still a Golf, and improvements are evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

The refreshe'd 7.5 and soon to be released MK8 should push prices further down, I can't see why you wouldn't find a deal.

They don't offer a sunroof but i really don't want one, the head room is down right cavernous. Beemah is a nice choice too. Griffballz spec is pretty :neat:

Less stuff means less problems, the Bluetooth thing is :fullretard: and I'd possibly consider a higher end aftermarket head unit and add great sound via some proper speakers, like Boston Acoustics shit in that case. :iono:

I am almost glad they don't offer a sunroof..... one less decision when the time comes. As far as sound, would you say there was any improvement from what you had in the :mk6: ? And theres no BT in the :gorf: ? :wtf:

Misunderstanding, there is Bluetooth in the :gorf: , the head unit and speakers are good, interface is :megusta: and I like all the touch/nav/physical buttons offered. I get good sound, similar or slightly better then :mk6: , the subwoofer is decent but not booming but the fender package is clear at high volume. Max distortion free volume is higher then the previous gen. I have no issue with the setup personally.

I was referring to the beemer not having blootoof, that is kind of :disappoint:

Wow! I'm amazed at how low of a price you're being offered for it. I though they are work 5-10k. :disappoint:

The only thing I'd watch out for with VW as a whole is the incosistency of good samples. In some cases they build bulletproof examples and in some cases they don't. Gberg has a few issues with his, and contemplates offing the thing some days. Mine has been 5/7. Also, GTIs get 3 or 4 mpg more and can run 87 (donkey piss) if needed, this car must run 91 only.

The mileage is whats killing its value methinks (155K)

Yeah.....I agree with that assessment.....if you get a good one, you're golden, if not its all :rage: all the time ....

I cant run the :jackass: piss anyway because tOOn

I mean I do have map switching capability (Thanks Arin) but I never switch it, because racecar....

155K after having your ECU shorted out by Arin is pretty good living.
