And twice as much oil? Holy shit that's way no good. I mean, it didn't budge on stick while flogging in TN. Sure enough about 1000 miles later it was just barley on the end of dip stick.

Will switch to a good oil and see. It's running whatever the doge diller put in it.

The speakers started working again after I restarted the car, weird. They stopped working in every mode (radio, media, etc) and wouldn't you know it, right when I got a phone call and needed handsfree. Great timing.

Good luck with the sale, I'm not modding this thing other than the suspension bits I've got.

Story time:

It was time to have the tires rotated (and oil changed which I did myself) so I attempted to take it to my Fiat diller, but they didn’t have an appointment for over a week so I took it across the street to the Doge/Jeep/Chrysler diller that I’ve used in the past for my Jeeps since they’re big and have an express lane. I pulled into the line and told them that I needed my tires rotated, and had my car back 30 mins later and was brapping home. It cost $10.

As I get out of my car, I notice that something is up with the side skirt. It’s not sitting flush with the body like it was earlier. After inspecting it, I do a walk around and see that the other side is the same. Both side skirts have a plastic clip that broke near the front wheels, they jacked the car incorrectly making contact with the skirts which popped them out so that they are only secured with tape around that area, the clips are broken.

Now I’m back at the diller, they were very apologetic and are currently getting a quote at a body shop. It should be an easy fix from the reasearch that I’ve done, this is apparently a pretty common issue with this car if the tech doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Fuck balls

Classic example of people not being able to perform the most basic tasks without screwing the pooch. Also a classic example of shoddy Italian construction.

I am taking my BMW in Tuesday. After having the oil changed at 5000 miles, 2100 miles later the "you need oil service" light has illuminated.

Owning vs. Leasing. I have oil change issues anyway.

5K miles or 1 year with synthetic, but yes, basically, particularly on Kraut vehicles.

This is my question of the day. Been wondering a couple weeks now and figured I would revive his thread in hopes he gets an email notification.
