I chose today to be my Saturday because I work Saturdays almost every weekend. Pure n00b at paint care/correction but gainz are being made.

Wash, clay bar, and first cut :notbad: so far. Here's the original paint :yikes:ImageImageImage

Yeah rock chips, greatly magnified BTW. But the front bumper and hood is taking a beating. Here's another pic. The rest of the car is in much better shape.Image

One of the great things about detail work on a Corvette is that there isn't that much paint to detail! You have the cloth top and I have an all glass/plexi setup so all you got is two bumpers, four fenders, two doors and a bit of hatch/trunk.

This is true, however I'm still going to end up spending the whole day on it.

If you did the same thing to a Suburban it would take 3 days.

Would you bring the Arr or the Tub?
I was planning to bring the Arr.

This car can probably do the trip and be a lot of fun but I don't want it to get beat up or incur high mileage. If I :plac: it in a few years I hope to limit the depreciation. If I sold it now I'd lose out on the taxes and mods which is :impressive:

I love driving the car and take it out almost daily in the summer, I just don't think cross country expeditions are the way to go. I'd rather take a fresh new car with a warranty and roadside assistance in that case.
