This to be exact. It could've been better with a manual, but they gave me an auto, come on? In Turkey and Greece, you'd only get an auto for rental if you ask and willing to pay more for the same car

In San Jose, i was driving up this hill, and it was probably similar or little worse than SF hills, did not have any confidence going further, because it barely had any balls. And going downhill was :lolol: dat brake stench and even 1 or 2 modes didn't help with engine braking. Would've been different story with manual.

They gave us an auto too

It was alright though, Allison is alright with :manuel: but she probably would've been uneasy driving one on those little mountain roads.

Random desert pics while driving from Las Vegas to Phoenix. It's an awesome drive, apologies for the crappy pics, yes I snapped them while driving.

That's a beautiful drive, reminded me of the roadtrip cross country when I was a high school senior during spring break, we stopped at vegas, then headed to LA the next day, same way back, boy it's been a while since I went to the west coast. I need to make a trip soon as I have one of my childhood friends from Turkey taking his masters at Stanford.

I could perhaps rent a car off Turo as well.

Just a few more desert shots today, AZ and NM along Highway 70. I ended up driving into the night and pulled over to look at the stars. Incredible, unlike anything I've seen before. Also, impossible to capture with a potato.

About the cross country trip i mentioned earlier, this looks quite similar, and since the spring break was on march, it was also snowing at Flaggstaff at the time. We spend the night albaqueque, nice mellow little city.

NC is a :tits: state. It has beaches, mountains, surfing, skiing, etc. It's kind of like the CA of the east coast. I'll post some beach pics next weekend, going to Charleston with the gf (which is actually SC but whatever).

WV is legit :notbad:

I'll admit the NC skiing is shit, but it's still an option. I could get up early, be on the slopes by 8, ski all day, be home for dinner. NC has the tallest mountains east of the Mississippi.

:aintcare: :doe: I'm not planning to ever ski again.

VA is meh, couple decent places but that's about it, WV and Maryland are better (dat wisp). Pennsylvania is even better, and being in NOVA it can take 3ish hours.

I'm jelly for you griff, I need to make a trip to Miami soon. I also heard about this eating place in Dade County, and I'm going to try that. Oh and eat Pollo Tropical for me. I also need to take a trip to SF as well.
