$800 at LBS. Thoughts?

This is an interesting bike. You can get different dropouts and run it geared, or keep it SS. Tapered head tube so you can run a suspension fork if you want, and it's geometry is corrected for 100mm travel suspension. Reynolds frame isn't exactly light but probably rides better than my aluminum Trek.
Not sure it really accomplishes anything for me though. Like, why not just keep my Trek and throw a carbon rigid fork on it if I want to fuck around with that, or do a ghetto singlespeed conversion if that's what I'm after... It is more of an, "if I hate it I can change it easily" ride. That weighs about 28 lbs out of the box. Going reverse of this would be something like the Kona Explosif at $2700 which looks absolutely killer spec wise but damn that's a lot for something without a rear shock.

Certainly is cheap enough. Could be a shitload of fun. Geo is basically the same as a Vassago Jabberwocky.

I’m out for today’s ride.
It’s rather chilly out there this weekend.

I don't see myself buying another dedicated road bike, honestly. I'm annoyed that the Cervelo maxes out at 23mm tires. Something like an All City Cosmic Stallion / Macho King, a Specialized Diverge / Crux, or any of those adventure oriented bikes that can take 38s will be the next road-style purchase. Something that can handle cross tires when I want it, or slicks to keep up with ride.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 9:35 amBlack Friday dills are heating up. Gorgeous. I look forward to hearing about you not buying it.
Dat Caad12 purple frame doe, I want it. I just don't see myself riding my road bike enough to justify upgrading my current frame.
That purple is great though. I love the simple decals on it too, just says Cannondale once per side.

Is that the same orange as you have fled?fledonfoot wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 10:45 amYeah, that's a solid deal. I have the M30... the M10 gets you Fox Factory suspension. XT group with the big bitch gear. Stiffer wheels and an upgraded set of hubs. Internal dropper. Sub $4k is a good number on that sled.

If you liked my bike, you'll love Fled's bike. One fast couch.
I love the thing. Buckets of grip, super chuckable, super light, super plush.

They sell their bearings and spares direct through the website or by calling them at the distribution center in Arkansas.
