I am good to go for Sunday too. Could meat somewhere. Maybe I'll see if any shops don't suck and have a demo bike I can take out.
No :waxer: required. They did it at no cost! :fuckyeah:

This is why I suggested supporting the LBS. Stuff like this pays off.

Shorter stem feel better?
I run little chode stems on my bikes. 5/7 speeds up the steering.

What do you want to demo? You need a L or an XL?

I'll see if Knapps has anything.
Uh XL? L? I ride a 19" hardtail frame. Want to try out a stumpy and a trance. Maybe a Santa Cruz if I want to :troywax:

The new stem feels a bit better. It's not full chode though. He said to take it out on a few more rides and see how it feels. We can always try a shorter one later.

Thinking about picking this pump up. Should do the trick when needed, ja?

Looks like Lee is getting a new bike again. This is a $4k rig. It was almost certainly pampered and may have an upgrade or two.
56 doe. Wouldn't really fit me. I think. IDK. Stack is lower than my Cervelo by about 30mm, plus I have a good 30mm of spacers under my stem and a riser stem.... I'd need a :dedong: stem at like 25 degrees, and that's assuming I can get the saddle back far enough.

The 2017 CruX did away with the stupid proprietary "SCS" rear wheel axle spacing too, and moved to a MTB 142x12 rear axle.

All it needs is a long cage Force1 rear mech, an XD driver, and an XD 10-42 cassette and it's golden.

Thinking I need a shorter one too. Feels like I could chop off 20-30mm comfortably from the 90mm stem that came on the Orbea. Also need a shorter seatpost. It's slammed at normal ride height, but I can't drop it at all when I want to for faster sections.

Found this while doing some research. I'll probably go with the Brass Knuckles since it's on sale for $175. I like that it also includes a front wheel strap while the Thule and Yakima do not.

Going out riding tomorrow, haven't in a few weeks because of vacation.

Sold my Trek for my (lowered) asking price of $165 :fuckyeah:

Everyone else was offering like $100, so I feel like I got top dollar. It went to a 5/7 dude too, which feels good. I did feel a tad sad.

Kind of crazy... I mean, I got this bike new in 2004 for $400... dat Wrangler-esque resale value.

The dude didn't even try to negotiate.

Mercer is the fastest drying place around. I'm good for something between 9 and 10am?

I lucked out. Rack attack was selling for the $175 with no prime while Amazon was still selling for list price $219. Checked today and ships and sold from Amazon dropped it to $154 + prime so I should have it sunday.

Probably not in time for the ride :doe:
