OT 21: DFD Giveth and DFD Taketh Away
Oh for sure! The bodybuilding regimen will have to take a back seat for a while, but that will also force me to streamline things like meal prepping and be even more efficient with my time. Rough timeline that I’m expecting/hoping for: Months 0-3: no gym trips.. all training done downstairs on the ...

General Economic chit chat/updates.
I mostly buy pre-rolled joints, but bought just an eighth of flower last time and toon a few bong rips on 4/20  Definitely prefer smoking out of a pipe/bowl/bong to taking gummies or even smoking pre-rolls. Gummies take too long to kick in, and I often have to kick start the high with smoking a...

I feel like baby management and bodybuilding is simular in some ways. Being good with scheduling/routines, dietary needs, pain tolerance, and endurance are keys to success with both. Oh for sure! The bodybuilding regimen will have to take a back seat for a while, but that will also force me to stre...

Thanks dude! We feel weirdly confident based on both of our experience with babies, but yeah, I’m fully expecting for that to get flipped on its head when we’re the primary caregivers and not just older siblings/baby sitters/etc.. I apologize. Girl or boy? Girl. Hit me with those girl-dad hot tips.

I’ll put the car seat in and take some pics next week when it delivers  The Vista V2 they’re getting us comes with a bassinet, and we’re fully expecting to use that for a long while. Changing table/pad for the dresser and something to dispose of the diapers in are both in our registry. Ba...

Nursery is 99% complete. Wallpaper is finished. Dresser, crib, rocking chair, and rug are in. Crib needs a mattress because we didn’t want to use the one that came with the used crib, but that’s about it. Just keep stock piling diapers from Costco for the next several months. Her parents want to buy...

It all happened so fast. It went from "Oh shit, she's turning" to "Crap, she's not stopping" and then finally "Oh, this is going to suck." Then the impact. Those airbags go off with the quickness. So tell us about Janet Guthrie. Was she sending a tweet or what? She was...

The build quality on any E Class is going to be a world away from a BMW 3/4 Series. They are just better cars. But the Bimmmer has been great so far. At then end of the month I will do a major service on it. The way the doors shut on the silver bullet was divine. Vault. Bmws sound like disgusting t...

First tracked tank of fuel.. 10.982 gallons over 284 miles. 25.9mpg. Not terrible considering I’ve still been having some fun getting on the throttle and hearing the supercharger whine. Currently paying $4.70/gal for 93 octane premium at Costco.

I would probably opt for wired CarPlay as I usually plug my phone in to charge while I drive anyways and wouldn’t want some wireless shit draining my battery like I’ve heard CarPlay tends to do.

If I was close to Six Flags Magic Mountain again I’d probably rock a season pass. Standing in lines sucks, but they have some great roller coasters there.

Griffinballs, fwiw, we stayed at a Marriott in Mission Valley, which is roughly 7 miles from La Jolla, and other places. Old town was nice, there is a nice Mexican Restaurant called Gualadara (somewhere along those lines), right on the corner of the intersection of the main road. Your :tits: most l...

Remodeling costs/finding a contractor etc
You need to talk to a few contractors. You will save money doing it all at once, but that’s a pain in the dick, especially with a kid! No website is going to accurately tell you costs for any of this. There are personally preferences you’re gonna have to factor in. For instance, tile can be $1/squa...

I will never argue for some sort of style points or individuality in a tesla. Where clearly it is the worst of the bunch... especially where I live (pic incoming). That said I was legitimately trying to debate the pros and cons of either. I have a fancy BMW EV now... what are my issues with it? 1. ...

Been hitting my stationary bike every morning bros. Bumped the resistance level to 13 last week and this week and keeping 90rpm for 30 minutes. Legs definitely feel that resistance and pace mornings like today where I trained legs the night before.

They do actually have something like that, but the speedometer is only in km/h  I’ll have to find a link to it. I did find a single din unit that just has the CarPlay screen as its front, so very small screen. Those touch screen buttons would be nice for convenience for sure. And yeah, there a...
