Wilton. Probably twice this year?
Oof, never mind. That's about an hour from me, not even counting traffic.
So in CT, 3 hours.

10th Gen Civic Si(gh) revealed!

What floored me with the K20 was taking a right turn at an intersection in 2nd gear like everyone does, and punching it and it just had absolutely nothing to give. Zero. Even at 4k it was still just wheezing. So you've got to downshift to 1st around a common turn? Good lawd. Yep... 4400 is when the...

Re: 10th Gen Civic Si(gh) revealed!

Yep, exhaust and a tune is supposed to be good for 25ish whp, I’d be happy with that. Figure that would be like 235/240ish crank for a 3000 lb car. Still not fast but definitely not bad. A little more oomph and your car would be :tits: That engine uncorks really nicely with some minor mods. If that...

Still glad I got the slower last N/A model. Sent from the Beer Depository Yeah with some bolt ons your car is as quick as the 1.5T :jalepenis: new one and likely more reliable long term. Yep. Never been to France but we followed my dad’s advice and just made sure to start our conversations with a tiny attempt (beyond asking if they speak English) when we went to Belgium and had great experiences. Travel 2018 - Where ya goin - From 7-11 to the Arctic - Post it up

:dat: my parents have gone multiple times in the past 15 years or so and have nothing but great things to say. Just make the smallest effort; at least start conversations in their language, etc, and they have always been treated with nothing but warmth. Side note, my pops was at Normandy this year ...

I just keep hearing oh french people are racist than most of Europe. Don't listen to other people. Go yourself and form your own opinion. The French were some of the nicest people we've ever met in Europe. Just don't be an "Ugly American". But you're an experienced international traveler so you sho...

Re: Do we really not have a cooking thread?!

To go from fumbling buffoon to “hey that looks like how they do it on Top Chef!” is pretty easy. Knife hand, pinch the bottom of the blade between index and thumb, the other on the handle. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180117/f0b33a2b9d063bba3750609056981a36.jpg Food hand, do a bear claw and c...

DYELB: The Gainz Train

I'd suggest a kettlebell or two like :fax: said, or get a cheap used barbell off craigslist and a couple of 10 and 25lb bumper plates, then find some full body complexes to do in your garages. Full body workout in 15-20 minutes is pretty easy with those. You won't build crazy strength, but your con...

I had a bad December, then a decent first couple of weeks in January but haven’t made it in at all yet this week. Some days have been explainable between illness and weather, but some mornings I’m just really struggling to get myself up. This ain’t gonna get better with a newborn. I’m thinking I ne...

I've been alright. And you? Just been mad busy...working, was in Disney this past weekend...so damn cold. Still can't handle rides. I wish I could. Re: Do we really not have a cooking thread?!

Any of y'all ever taken a basic knife skills class? It came up lately as something of interest and I would like to research a little and see if it is worth it. I don't think that I suck at it but it scratches an itch of something I'd like to know how to do properly. To go from fumbling buffoon to “...

Could you/would you DD a sports car/sedan?

I would, and I do. At least the quick steering makes dodging potholes easier. Strange as it is, I think my rice rocket handles potholes better than my GTI did :iono: It's more bouncy but less likely to bottom out with a huge gut wrenching KABOOM like the MK6 used to. Progressive bump stops.

We banned :crotchfruit: at or wedding too. Was, hands-down, the best party I’ve been to and/or thrown. Guest list was under 90 people, we excluded liquor unless you brought it, and we had no official DJ, so we played the songs we wanted. Can’t stand it when weddings get hijacked by some DJ who want...
